In over 700 years, Nothing has Changed.

OSCAR WILDE WROTE:
“To give an accurate description of what has never occurred is not merely the proper occupation of the historian, but the inalienable privilege of any man of parts or culture”
Who am I to argue with Oscar Wilde.
I am not a historian. I would describe myself as a fabularian, I take a thread of history and weave it into fantasy.
In this, my second book, I have again taken the characters of my first novel back into the past.
There they embark on a journey of exploration into the shadowy world of a nation defeated, but not annihilated by King Edward 1. That nation was Wales.
In ‘The Red Hand’ my characters search to find out howWales survived. The ‘how’ may be fiction, but the fact is that this small nation did survive. Astonishingly the characters emerge at the end of the book, in the midst of a very real, modern war. The dire warning at the end of the story, is more relevant today, than it was when I wrote it.
In over 700 years, nothing has changed.
I am dedicating this book to the people of Ukraine, anyone who wants to read it, can do so free of charge. It would be an act of kindness to make a donation to Red Cross to help a nation.
